"Isla's Iris --  21" x 28"
This is the second time I have painted these irises  which were given to me by my dear friend Isla Streeter. The buds are deep purple and as it opens it is orange, reddish and hot pink! Very hard to capture but fun trying! This painting is in the 2003 Mid West National Transparent Watercolor Exhibition and gave me my signature!
"Glorious Morning" - This birdhouse is in my garden and the swallows claim it as theirs every year. The house was created here in Bemidji, MN and can often be seen as a logo on HGTV!
     "Window on the World"
These fushias hung at my daughter Suzy's home in Manzanita, Oregon.  I placed the Ruby throated hummingbird in the top, resting and watching the world go by. Mine love to do that here in Minnesota and stay close to their food!!!
The original painting is owned by David and Shirley Hagen of Riverton, Utah.
"Anticipation" is 2 wrens building their home in an old clay pot. I added them to a photo I took in Manzanita, Oregon. I loved the shutters that add the mystery of perhaps a cat peeking out? This image is now available on Evergreen products such as garden flags, door mats and windsocks!
